About SHS
Sexual Harassment Support is a non-profit, private group. The community was founded in 2005 by
sexual harassment and stalking survivors for sexual harassment and stalking survivors. We are
very appreciative of the positive response to what we are trying to do .
There is still very little in terms of support for people who have been sexually harassed or stalked. A
widespread problem, harassment targets can have experiences that run the gamut from mild to the
extreme. And they can deal with emotional effects ranging from mere annoyance to their being so
abused that they become disabled, debilitated, and feel unable to move forward.
By creating SHS, we hope to help build an Internet community for sexual harassment and stalking
survivors. This is a safe place for them to connect with other survivors, find-and-give support,
share resources and information, and to speak out about what they have experienced.
We know what you are going through. You do not have to prove your case here. You don't have to be
an activist, just be willing to share and support others.
We are not experts, medical professionals, or lawyers. Our membership is made up of harassment
victims and survivors, or their friends and loved-ones. Most all the articles at the main site and
blogs were researched and written by SHS members. The main site and forums are administered
and moderated by sexual harassment and stalking survivors, and all work voluntarily. Disclaimer

| SHS is dedicated to the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas. If it were not for their chronic abuse, victim-blame, slander, and gang stalking (all by faculty) of a student sexual harassment target and complainant, and the administration's refusal to remedy the situation, the inspiration for SHS would have never come about. |
