Sexual Harassment Support
|
A support community for anyone who has experienced sexual harassment.
Art Gallery
This gallery opened in February of 2007 and is meant to provide a space for sexual harassment and
stalking survivors to publish the art they have created, and which has been inspired by their
experiences.
The idea behind the gallery was itself inspired by the Survivors Art Foundation, which provides a
place for trauma survivors to publish their works.
Right now we have two featured artists:
Janelle
Janelle is a sexual harassment and stalking survivor who has used painting and drawing to explore
her feelings about what happened to her. Of these paintings she writes, "I painted white randomly
over the squares, and then used oil pastels to draw a scene on the canvas. I don’t want the scenes
to be happy, and I need to find ways to get across that the blue figure is trying to harm the red figure.

LacuneRainChild
"Art helped give me a release from the harassment and helped calm my mind down when I would be
having anxiety. Also, it's helped me communicate to other people when it came to telling them what
happened to me.
