Sexual Harassment Stories and Experiences

     This was my first job and I was so excited to work there.  I had made so many new friends, but one of the guys that worked there that I had made friends with kept saying perverted things to me, such as asking me if I liked him and wanted to have sex with him.  I gave him a weird look and said “no”.  As I was walking away he said”you know you like me,you know you want it.”  I just ignored him. 

     Then he approached me and started saying things to me and I told him to leave me alone.   I thought I had made my point very clear.  As I was taking dishes to the back, I seen him so I went to go the other way and he started to walk towards me at a fast pace.  He was laughing like it was funny. 

     At that point I had had enough.  I told my manager about the situation and she said that she will write him up and tell him to leave me alone.  I thought it was over. 

     The next time we had to work together he slapped me on my butt twice as he walked past me.  I yelled at him to stop and leave me alone. 

     I realized that my manager had never confronted him. 

     After that he came up behind me and was rubbing himself againts me.  I then pushed him off of me and walked back up to the front of the resturant. 

     I ended up quitting a few days later.
