Stalkers do not just turn over a new leaf. They will try every tactic to get back in to your life, and one of them is calling to apologize and tell you exactly what you want to hear. And yes, most likely the only reason he has left you alone was because he couldn't stalk you in prison. I don't tell you anything you don't already know - he's played his games before and you know exactly how they'll turn out.
