I bet they put pressure on your witness so they buckled in and now say "they didn't see anything" when in reality they did and now they are either scared to get involved or think somehow if they make a statement they will have to carry the blame or whatever for any reprocusions of the incident. That is why witness are good if they are actually good witness and have character but then when it boils down to it Who Knows if they will actually fess up to what they saw. It looks like in your case you have someone that isn't going to back you up which is so sad. I hate that he did that to you and that you are going through all this. That is why witness are good if they are actually good witness and have character but then when it boils down to it Who Knows if they will actually fess up to what they saw.
